School Partnerships
VET Delivered to Secondary School Students
Vocational Education and Training (VET) enables students to receive workplace skills and knowledge through nationally-recognised qualifications from industry-developed training packages or accredited courses. VET Delivered to Secondary School Students (VETDSSS) allows students to mix general and vocational education, working towards achieving competencies as part of a full or partial VET qualification as they complete their secondary school studies.
The delivery of VET qualifications must be done through an RTO (Registered Training Organisation), and whilst many schools also hold registration as a RTO, most VETDSSS programs are undertaken in partnership with another provider as part of a third-party auspicing arrangement.
Ripponlea Institute, along with the other RTOs in the ReadCloudVET group, have designed partnerships specifically for secondary schools, combining all the necessary components of an RTO Auspice Agreement with the provision of an extensive library of fully compliant assessment tools, as well as media-rich delivery resources and ongoing support throughout each year.
We work closely with partner schools to support the delivery of quality programs that are contextualised and meaningful for young learners, providing support to teachers, assessment materials, learner resources and ongoing professional learning opportunities.
Our approach is defined by our commitment to support, and to continuously improving our teaching and learning resources to always ensure they remain relevant to current industry trends and technology. Plus, with dynamic integrated platforms, step-by-step compliance systems and each partner school assigned their own School Partnership Consultant (SPC), we’ve taken the hard work out of managing and delivering your VET program(s).
